Overview

KL studio is a place to read your sources, write claims in your own words, connect those claims into a graph you understand, and turn that graph into a LaTeX draft. The graph is a record of what you understand — not what you own, and not what a machine concluded for you.

The loop

Everything is one continuous read → write loop. Each stage's output seeds the next, so you're never asked to start from a blank page:

  import ──▶ read ──▶ claim ──▶ link ──▶ board ──▶ draft
  (a PDF) (a span) (a note) (typed) (curated) (.tex)

Two signals

A source is imported once it's in a library (you have the PDF / metadata). It becomes digested once you've read it and written at least one claim off it. Digested nodes render filled; imported-but-unread ones render as hollow outlines. A dense patch of filled claims is the only score there is.
